Ueda is the only "artist" of the three, since he is the only one who makes a game, that is an art, something that cannot be accomplished in other mediums.

Kojima and David Cage make long movies/tv shows, most of the "art" in these games is because they could be amazing movies.
The only thing that Kojima did that can only be done in a game is that scene in MGS4, act 5, you know what I mean :P

What is/isn't art, or is an artist/who isn't is subjective by nature. If you read the OP carefully, you will see that I said that it isn't just about the rendered images on the screen, but the state of mind. In this regard, they are all 'artists' IMO.

...Read my post again :)

I didn't say they weren't artists, but that they weren't making "art games", like Ueda does, since their same art could be shown through other mediums, while Ueda's can only be accomplished in games.

And again, it isn't about who makes 'art games' or not. I said that my meaning for their descriptions was about a state of mind, not JUST the work itself. Read the OP again.

In that case than I prefer Kojima's work :P

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
