Surprisingly enough, they set up a great 10 nominees. Great job Academy!

WTF is The Blind Side nominated for best picture??? So they're nominating Lifetime-quality movies now. I'm sure there were better options (A Single Man, Star Trek, The White Ribbon, hack even The Hangover).

And congratulations to Up. It's the second animated movie ever nominated for Best Picture (the first was Beauty and the Beast).
