FFVII is a strange one for a remake because no-one will be pleased with the results.
If it's the same, some will dislike the now-dated gameplay
If it's changes, purists will revile it for effing up a great original.
If I was SE, I wouldn't bother with it and just move on to putting out the old games to PSN etc and new ones on the shelf.
oddly, that appears to be what they're doing.
