I'm going to disagree. Neither of these games deserved to sell more. After looking at both games they have something in common. They are the 20 ish variation of said game. I don't know what game started the style, but these two games have hit market saturation of the content. Changing the graphics of a game doesn't make a new genre or game. It's obvious that just making another one won't sell.
"It's not about who's better, it's about being first and good enough."
Neither of these are near first and maybe they are better, but other games got their first and are good enough. In a way these games shouldn't have been made, but that would be unfortunate to the people who made it.
For the now the company needs to consider. Grow the game like most things in the world or dump it because of shallow reasons that's it's not an instant hit exception.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
