I beat it as well....Just a few hours ago.

34 hours, completed probably 95% of all available quests/scanning areas. Did not upgrade all weapons as I didn't need them (upgraded just about everything else). Got 45/51 achievements on my first runthrough. Achievements are a lot easier.

I had sex with Tali, of course. What ME2 player hasn't picked her for the first option?

I do have a question for someone that can answer it:

How do you get all people to survive the suicide mission? That is the only achievement I failed at on my runthrough (sans class-specific powers). I had one guy die on the Collector homeworld due to getting nailed with a rocket when the door closes. I assume that its because I picked the wrong person?

Overall, fantastic game. I did not like the 'twist' at the end. Compared to ME1, it was a big letdown. Kind of stupid and did not make sense vs. Mass Effect 1. However, lead-in for Mass Effect 3 was incredible. Only 2 more years!

The suicide mission basically comes down to loyalty and who you pick for the various roles. For the infiltration mission, pick Legion or Tali (your best hackers). To lead the second team, pick Miranda or Garrus (your best leaders). To maintain the shield, pick Samara or Jack (your best biotics). I'm not sure if it matters who you send to lead the crew members back to the Normandy; I sent Jacob and had no casualties.

The most common mistakes seem to be sending Thane for the infiltration mission (no hacking ability) or using Samara to lead the second team (no leadership experience; she works alone).

That was what I was thinking. I had Grunt lead the 2nd team and Miranda said that was a bad choice.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
