I think possible ROF legs really depends on the quality of the game.  SO4/IU still have me wary of tri-Ace, and I'm sure that's true for a lot of their fans.

Last Rebellion was destined to bomb.  Tiny publisher, new IP, no name developer... this game didn't stand a chance.  It might have as well been a Marvelous Wii game. ;)
