Just press PS button, go to settings... the links will be bold... jst follow the bold links and set the f$#@ mic volume to 2 ou maximum 3...

What make of headset are you using?

I am using a simple Motorolla Bluetooth headset, cheap one, do you recommend buying a Socon/Sony headset?

Noo not at all, I got mine off ebay brand new its a jabra headset i got 2 for £5 then there was p&p on top of that and i gave the other one to my brother, and they work fine, i think it is like you said, poeple are turning the volume up on them too far and it is mostly kids as well
