David Jaffe isn't even working on this game...he left after God of War 2 in 2007.

What is so special about the series and the gameplay? Devil May Cry did this first and did it better in my opinion, why does everything that comes out of the West have to be so macho all the time? and bald? really? Kratos has a horrible and stereotypical design in my opinion with a very bland personality to add on to it, it's horrible.
I'm just saying they could break away from the bald steroid abusing badass idea for once and give us a likable protagonist with a personality, decent sense of style, charisma, and long hair, something the West has yet to attempt...they think we are ALL into the whole military thing which is not true at all, it takes all kinds.
All I get from God of War is that we have the same angry barbarian we have seen for years, maybe the story makes up for this horrid stereotype I don't know I could never get into the games personally and have yet to pick up and play one, but I know there isn't much to ole Kratos as far as a character goes. I heard he goes to hell, kills god, etc...doesn't really impress me. It sounds like something written by a 15 year old with ADHD to me or one of those people with OH SO RANDOM humor who think EVERYTHING is AWESOME...these are the same people who still write Chuck Norris jokes...come on.
Again...maybe the story and other elements of the game make up for this, I don't know I'm not inclined to get into it.

First off, he is only bald because of the technical limitations of the PS2 when they made the first game. They almost gave him dreads. Secondly. He was in the military, so it stands to reason he would be fit and macho. Also there is a very good reason as to why he is so powerful, but i can say. I don't know how to do the spoilers text. He has a real personality. He was compelled through lust for power before the first game. During the first game he wanted revenge for trickery of the gods. in 2 he wanted revenge for a god turning his back on him.
Also, the story has many subtle things in it that you have to pay attention to in order to notice. The story is very good. I know your type. You dislike whatever is popular. Oh also DMC is nothing like GOW. Gameplay wise, story wise, pretty much everything. Just because they are both action games doesn't mean they are exactly the same.

I don't dislike whatever is popular, you don't know who I am man. FF7 is my favorite FF so how can I possibly be the type of chump who goes against the grain just for the sake of doing so? I hate people like that, don't put me in that category, that's bad.
