(a) the game had a similar budget to uncharted 1 (stated by ND in an interview)
(b) ND was aiming for sales similar to uncharted 1
uncharted 2 is tracking alot higher than uncharted 1 (i.e., only 30k short of it's predecessor while being on the market for approximately 12 months shorter).
Given (a), (b) and , I think it's safe to conclude that uncharted 2 has already turned a profit.
