Hell I know people from Cork, Edinborough and London. I can tell the difference but if I am tired than sometimes I can't. It doesn't sound as distinct as a Boston accent compared to a strong southern accent to me. Also a South African accent sounds more like an Australian accent if you want to go that route. Maybe you meant puerto rican and cuban accent(there isn't a "hispanic accent").
