My only problems with Uncharted 2 is that it's extremely easy (on hard mode) and linear but this is a great game.
Easy gold trophy in my opinion...
And sorry, but I strongly disagree with most (if not 100%) of the bolded parts. This is an absurd:
-"the gameplay isn't anything to write home about and that the storytelling isn't quite there"
-"I'd like Naughty Dog to learn that interactive storytelling is the future with the technology we have now,"
-" I felt like I was going through the motions of the generic gameplay just to get to those cinematic moments."
The battle system is awesome (and unique), the character animation is simply the best (you will feel that the character is really tired), there is nothing generic about the gameplay. The storytelling is well done (cutscenes, atmosphere, characters, voiceacting etc).
I have to admit, I almost finished Uncharted 2 and I don't like it because of the difficulty and the linearity, but it's not because the game is bad, it's because it's not for me. This is an incredible game (and experience), Uncharted 2 deserves those scores.
