Hello gamers are people who play games not watch them
I think you are a bit overboard with your definition of a gamer.
Some gamers want to press a button and keep spraying bullets where there's no challenge, aside from killing heaps upon heaps of enemies (serious sam). Others want to continually click a button to kill enemies (diablo). Others will love the way the story is told and they are able to be a part of a grand scheme (MGS 4).
Who are you to say they are not gamers? Everyone has a different reaction and a different approach to gaming. Being able to see a wonderful spectacle after running, shooting, badmouthing, jumping several scenes is for some of us a wonderful reward for what we've just done.
Again, it seems like a "what I say goes, if you don't agree, you're stupid"...
