No surprise as the game is French.

By that logic, Famitsu would give 40 to every Japanese game, and IGN would give 10 to every American game.

So u dont believe there is national bias? Behave yourself. Famitsu is proven to favour Japanese games in an almost bizarre way. Swedish mags give higher scores to Swedish games etc.

With US (and perhaps also UK) it's different.

Favour it, of course. Japanese games are made for Japan.

Heavy Rain is made for both America and Europe (and Japan, a bit), so there shouldn't be any national bias there. Also, a 5/5 is not a perfect score. There's no perfect score in a 5 or even 10 point system. 100 point system...depends how you look at it. No game is perfect. Not Heavy Rain, not MGS4, not OoT.

well i agree there is no such thing as a perfect game, however HR did obtain the maximum score, which is what i was trying to point out.

it's the future of handheld
