I have a few gameplay complaints but otherwise its an amazing gaming experience.
I do wish the action was a little bit more meaty when it its on, but maybe this last mission you speak of is going to answer my wish.
Also, the game would be really cool with coop during the action parts. I think they could have successfully implemented split screen local coop for only the action segments since you have 2 other teamates with you at all times. May as well give the option of having a second player control one of the teamates. |
BioWare didn't want to melt gamers' brains and make every other developer on the planet look bad by implementing co-op, I'm sure.
I doubt they could have done split-screen co-op because of the resources required to run the game but online co-op could have been beautiful, man.

Co-op would've ruined the experience. Why does every game these days need to have co-op?

Not everything has to be co-op but I think online co-op could have been fun in ME2 as a way to play through the game for the 20th time.
I definitely wouldn't want to play co-op the first time through it, though. That would be a waste of a brilliant gaming experience.

I think a spec-ops style co-op mode that unlocks after your first playthrough, where you just get to replay a bunch of the best set peices would have been mind-blowing.
