FFVI was ported to the original Playstation with extra cutscenes on October 5 1999 via the 'Final Fantasy Anthologies'. This version also featured a remastered port of Final Fantasy V, the first time both America and Europe had gotten an official release of the game outside of Japan.
The game was also ported once more to Game Boy Advance in 2006.
