2nd generation? How so? What exactly are they going to do to the chip when TSMC hasn't even got the 28nm process ready yet? I don't think another respin counts as a new generation, nor can you say derivatives are a new generation either.

Read it on nVidia site.  They haven't announced what is in the second generation.  My guess is a better implementation of DX11's tessellation unit, hull shader, domain shader, and the stream out efficiency.

I seriously doubt any of that. They'll wait until the 28nm refresh for major changes.
