I am a teacher and father of a 5 year old son. We play Mario together and it's fun. He will never even see the casing of my M rated games. I only play at night, when he is asleep. As a teacher, I try to tell my students (12 year olds) of the fact that it's wrong to play those M rated games because of the violence and the fact that their is no way they can understand it all. I am not a violent guy, I don't think Shattered Memories or Cursed Mountain is violent. It's unsettling. I think you have to be mature enough to play games like Resident Evil. When my son is old enough, he can make is own decisions, for now, it's Mario Time baby.
And for mature gaming, I am anxious to see what Heavy Rain will bring to the video game industry.
