It turns out there were some MAJOR mis-calculations. GWTW never made an adjusted $2 billion dollars in the US. It was nowhere close to that. Adjusted, it made about $400 million on its first run and about $700-800 million among all its runs.

So Avatar is going to most likely beat it for adjusted gross.
