The mark of a great company is one that can predict future sales trends and demands and knows when to bolster or cut different departments. I can guarantee you the people working at MS are far smarter than you and have legitimate reasons for cutting people. Hell companies do job cuts during times of financial nirvana and you expect them not to in a recession?!
And lol at some of you calling Bill Gates greedy. He is the single biggest giver to charities in the entire world. He's given more money to help people than pretty much any country in the world.
