My top 5 would have to be:

Harvest Moon (Alive)
Dead or Alive (Alive)
Final Fantasy (Alive)
Ogre Battle (Dead?)
Warcraft (I fear that with WoW the next RTS is really far away :( )

So, 4 out of 5 isn't too bad. Also, I must say, kudos for mentioning Legend of Legaia. I loved that battle system.
