In the latest issue of Famitsu, it's mentioned that SEGA are offering exclusivity of a new Shenmue game to one of the three console makers in exchange for funding of the project.
"SEGA also mentioned the chance of one of the three hardware makers financing the game's production in exchange for an exclusivity deal. Let's see if Microsoft, Nintendo or Sony are interested."
The first two Shenmue games were released on the SEGA Dreamcast and were met with critical acclaim for their gorgeous visuals and sandbox-RPG style gameplay.
