I can confirm what stof is saying.
My boss is Korean who immigrated to America at a very, very early age. He went back to Korea as a soldier in the US Army. He said the women were all over him, and the men (literally) would walk up to him and say that they weren't inferior to him - out of envy I guess?
So yeah, Koreans love anyone Western. Even those that are from their native land, but grow up in the US with US culture and mannerisms.
Its like Peter Griffin says 'There are two kinds of people in the world. Nerds and bullies. And there are hot Asian chicks. Oh yeah, they'll do what you want 'No, I won't hurt you! Me big American man.'
