towns provided lots of interesting side quests and a break from dungeon crawling, this disrupts the flow of JRPG's, it used to be town>dungeon> town>dungeon> and so on with some cut-scenes thrown in, FFXIII throws all that out of window and we are left with dungeon>dungeon>dungeon> with lots of cut-scenes in-between, i will still get this game, but i am not hyped for it anymore.
