Oh, and am I the only one who is basically just doing the story. I haven't got into many of the side missions because the main storyline is so engaging

Haha the side missions are time killers! i have played over 20 hours on this game already. I own it on the PC btw

The game is brilliant but sometime it gets too repetitive, to be honest it doesn't feel like an RPG at all once your further into the game it feels stage base now, like you need to do all these mission and your done, go back to ship, new mission, Same thing over and over again.

But am still enjoying the game, matter fact am going to be playing it now haha

It is true that it does get a bit repetitive, but I have spent ages getting minerals, I just haven't found any side missions on those uncharted worlds.

At the moment I am on Illium, and so I just have 3 missions to, which will have pretty similar combat (though I will use different characters) but interesting stories.... The story is the saving grace of this game, because the combat certainly does not quite match up to GeoW or Uncharted, even with the powers

Finding sidequests on random planets is pretty easy:

When you fly to a planet, and zoom in to read the description, it will give an audio 'anomaly detected' and signal there is something there. If it doesn't give that warning, then there will not be a mission on that planet.

If you want to do side missions, the easiest way to do them is to make sure you have 100% exploration in a various cluster. Omega only has 1 side-quest mission for the 5 star systems available. Usually, there is one and at most two side missions per star cluster...So they aren't very frequent.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
