i wouldn't say that, since final fantasy has been taking quite a beating criticly as of late aswell.

Indeed, I may have been exagerating a wee bit. I think that we are getting a little spoiled by the volume of fantastic games we've gotten this gen, and we need to bitch about SOMETHING so we nitpick every last thing. Especially when a game is highly rated or has high expectations.
