Jeez wasn't that nice of Sony just "offering" to publish the game in Europe and I guess it was Namco Bandai that insisted that the other completed 'gold' versions of the game just sit there. Give me a break what do you want a smoking gun??

Evidence would be nice.

I don't know who you think I am, but I am neither a party to Sony or Atari, nor am I privy to their contractural litigation terms of agreements.

Do you have the signed contract pages of Microsoft securing time-exclusivity periods for Tales of Vesperia or Star Ocean??

Um, when did I accuse Microsoft of paying for timed exclusive rights for those games?

However, since you asked so nicely:  http://kotaku.com/5360375/japanese-developer-microsoft-making-ps3-development-easier-%5Bupdate%5D

It's not solid evidence.  And I'll never accuse Microsoft of moneyhatting for those exclusives (and I don't think I ever have).  But it does offer some insight into something Microsoft could have possibly done to get Japanese developers to make so many XBox360 timed exclusives.

Well that reads like Sony and the developers are just as much to blame as Microsoft's supporting funds.  Sony made their console hard to develop for and the developers get the support needed to make the game.

The point was that there is no freely available clear-cut evidence that shows any publisher purchasing timed-exclusivity periods.  Though I think some of them are fairly obvious.
