If its not that good, but good why is it so danm loved. It amazes me you guys think how basic it is, yet is one of the most played multiplayers ever, and is loved by millions. It just blows my mind.

I just cant believe what you people are stating to me. It may be your opinion but that doesnt change the fact that tons of people love halo and think tis easily GOTY material


 Just becuase people "love it" doesnt mean its good. ton of chicks love the movie the notebook,  it doesnt make that a GREAT movie. Saying GOTY should be based on how many people love it is just stupid. It should be based on average critics rating. Which Halo 3 got a 9.2/10. i am not saying that is bad just saying games like Call of duty 4 and Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime did better in that.


No by popular meaning its "goty" to most people GOTY is opinion, gamerankings is NOT fact on how great a game is. No one will ever know because its based on opinion. GOTY to many will be bioshock or halo 3, or mass effect, or galaxy, or uncharted, or whatever. But opinions are opinions, and to many GOTy is halo 3, and many think that so popularity will always have a huge influence over game awards because its GOTY to many. If spike wants to go completely based on its own opinion then you cant attack it.

Halo has a 9.32 on gamerankings and a 9.4 on metacritic...... that and it beats out metroid prime big time with a 89...... and your ratchet and clank uncharted games didnt even get into the 9's so why are you listing them. Your logic is flawed there as well



                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
