How can Halo be over-rated when reading this thread it has to be the opposite. I would say based on this thread here, its the most under-rated game on the list.
The real listing for most over-rated would probably be an exact reversal of the rankings given.
1. Zelda.
2. Metal Gear.
3. Final Fantasy
4. Grand Theft Auto
5. Halo.
In order of hate flung at a game, it would have to go 5,4,3,2,1 up that list as well. A game which has as much hate flung at it as GTA IV, Halo 3 and Final Fantasy can probably never be over-rated in the first place.
Judging from the responses in this thread, the people making the comments and throwing the bile around are the same as the stereotypical Halo fanboys. Honestly, people have had 3 chances to find out that Halo sucks between Halo 1, 2, 3 and since the sales have increased between installments it can't honestly be that bad.
