Outsourcing factory jobs to China is good in the short-term and significantly improves multinational companies bottom lines and profit margins. But in the long-term the loss of factory jobs results in higher unemployment in developed countries, local factories close down and consumers in developed countries may stop spending. Outsourcing lots of jobs ends up hurting a lot of people.

Cheap factories results in lower quality goods. The Chinese factory workers are exploited and paid extremely low wages around $2 a day. China also has a high rate of child labourers.

I'm going to blow your mind here.

Child Labor is a GOOD thing.

In countries that ban child labor in the developing world... there is a distruning trend.  Child deaths increase.  Why?  Orphans can't work to feed themselves.

Some families are fronted by 10-14 year olds.

And I'll blow your mind.  Any work these 10-14 year olds are doing is probably shit.  They probably couldn't make a reliable product if their life depended upon it.  Imagine a 10 year old putting together a lcd screen....  I work at a place that repairs lcd panels.  Granted most panels are messed up by the users but guess where most of all these lcd panels were made... China.. Face it child labor and third world countries can't produce a very reliable product.  I feel sorry for anyone who every buys a car made from China....  (I own a 05 Honda Civic EX Special Edition, I'd like to see China produce something of Honda quality, oh wait they can't, the only thing they can produce is shit products and pollution...)
