"Cost isn't the most important thing if you were nuts about playing a lightsaber game with realistic motion control. If you already had a PS3, the choice becomes a lot simpler."
You mentioned the cost of the Motion+, so ignoring the cost of doing the same on the PS3 is not fair.
"If I have two versions of the same game using comparable 1:1 controls, then I'm going to buy the one with the better resolution and graphics. There's no reason to buy a downscaled version unless you were really attached to the Wii."
That's false because it assumes there are not other factors. Any Wii game costs less, for one. The scale wouldn't matter for 1 on 1 battles. Loading times would also be shorter. If there is any moving around, using the nunchuck would be more comfortable than using the gamepad in one hand.
So don't give me that crap about the only possible reason being how one feels. Even if you don't intend it, that's the same BS logic Wii bashers use.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
