being a big fan of the franchise I too want that game  but it's 2011 at the earliest. The team making it has only just finished NSMBWii

 

We are as close to getting pikmin 3 as we are to getting forza 4 and uncharted 3

Wasn't it announced back in like 2007 though? Oh well, plenty of games to tide me over till then >_<

it was never officially announced. At E3  2008 Miyamoto wanted to tlak about his next big thing which was Wii Music and he got really pissed off about the hardcore moaning at him so he gave an offhand comment about making Pikmin 3. In an otherwise uneventful nintendo E3 the press jumped on this as though it was an official announcemnt.

 

really he meant that they would be making pikmin 3 sometime in the future. Now that EAD4 is free real pikmin 3 development can  start
