That has to be the most random and unexpected Nintendo game announcement since Metroid Other M.
OK sure if it was another spin-off not developed by GameFreak I wouldn't be surprised at all, but it sounds like a new main entry to the series. I'm still hesitant to get overly excited just in case it turns out to be some random Pikachu RPG, but if it's the real deal then great!
