That is where Apple will have a huge advantage by being able to show a bright shiny product that lets them read books, browse the web and watch videos. It's very easy to demonstrate all these things in a short commercial or quickly in a store. Remember, it's not about you, it's about the untapped audience that may not like laptops or computers but reads books, browses the web and watches tv. Apple can afford to buy Super Bowl spots and advertise it in a way other companies cannot. |
I agree that it will wow people, I just don't think the iPad will take off. The trendy douche's will buy it and it will be popular at release but beyond this, I don't see the iPad taking off so it shouldn't really be a problem for the Kindle and Nook.
