Good on Sega for doing the right thing. I hope it now gives people who get the PS3 version a comparable experience to the 360.
It's a shame the reviews are all set in stone though, because if this patch does what it should it pretty much takes out most of the down marks. I hope at least some sites put some sort of side note on their PS3 reviews after assessing the patch to give a guide as to how well the patch has worked.
Still not gonna get the game, not as a matter of protest (even though I promoted a protest avoidance of the game before, it wasn't my primary reason for not getting it myself), but as a matter of preference to spend my few gaming $$ elsewhere.
