I'm more the impression that Square doesn't much care for the Wii. Enix has always maintained one stance. They will produce their IP on the largest user base console. Now there haven't exactly been a flood of Enix IP, but from what there has been so far has shown evidence that Enix supports and is holding to the highest user base console.
This split in SE game development seriously shows a distinct difference in regards to management of IP. So it's likely that when DQX comes out it's going to be a solid DQ game.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
