Respect +9001 (so, it's over nine thousand) That's exactly what I think. There are a lot of great games in the FF series (some of them are unforgettable) but FF6 had the best combination. Also, great avatar. |
Thanks man ;)
It still amazes me this day, when I do a new playthrough to it, how well put together the game is.
Even the transition between both worlds is perfectly done. Very few people realised that at that time, the entire main character focus had shifted totally. Suddendly, what was a fairly linear game, opened up to a vastness not seen before in FF6, which is pretty ironic if you look at the context of how it happens in the game.
When all is good and nice, you don't get much liberty, but when everything is destroyed and the villain had triumphed, you get the freedom to shape the game as you willed as well.
But the main high point for me in the game is the Opera Scene. I'm in love with Aria di Mezzo Caratere, the best song ever made for a FF game imo :)
