A Bad Clown said: Just wait too, numerous companies like HP, Dell, Sony, MSI, Acer, and even Motorola announced tablets weeks before the iPad. I'm sure we'll get similar tablets to that in no time. The best one I've seen though is the Lenovo tablet laptop which actually is two computers in one. |
You mean like the Lenovo X200, which costs $1400-1500? Almost tripple the cost of the iPad? Yeah, if you're looking to wait until at least late next year then you might get something of the like at a reasonable price, but then you still have to deal with the fact that the X200 is well over twice as heavy as an iPad which (sad to say) already sounds heavy enough for something I'm going to hold like a book. If the Courier weighed over three pounds like Lenovo's tablets do, it'd be completely impractical to use it in the way people are going to want to. Same for iPad. The weight of these devices is extremely important for how well they will sell, and the netbook manufacturers that think they can add a touchscreen to what they've already got are going to be shocked if they think otherwise.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
