Yeah they were all in the game.  Even the green-haired Will Wright from the SNES version of SimCity was in the game.  It was madness.  And Peach was in there somewhere too.  And goombas and shy guys.  It even had jumping and platforming segments.  Most ridiculously diverse/wacky/romantic/mysterious/surreal Zelda ever.

 

Great to know my favorite Zelda was inspired by my favorite TV show!

This is my favorite Iwata Asks so far.  It's always great to find out how many of Nintendo's greatest gaming inventions come from "happy accidents."  They really are insane artist/scientists.

And these ancient documents are amazing.  Man I would pay sooooooo much money to have this framed on my wall.  It's even got the chunk of meat!

I'm just shocked that how they really made NES games was just like how I'd make my own NES games to start out.  Hah.
