Have you ever watched Yahtzee's review of Silent Hill 2? He just bashes it the whole time, but starts the review along the lines of, SH2 is my favorite game/story/experience ever, if on an island->SH2, SH2 reinvented video games...etc etc etc. But then he bashes it the whole time. JAMES!!

SH2 is a very unique game in a already unique series.  SH2 is all about the story and atmosphere.  The gameplay is just an excuse for the story and atmosphere to crawl under your skin.
