^No I def don't think it is.

I got a question about importing the ME1 character. I would have done that if I still had my original save but since that xbox got stolen I couldn't. But I saved Kaiden instead of Ashley as well as kept Wrex alive in the first. But in this one would I have seen Kaiden on the colony instead of Ash? And would it be presumed that Wrex is dead?  Because people said that to me. Would that have played out differently had I imported my character?

It plays out differently according to whomever you saved or chose different options for at the start of ME2.

Could anyone clarify the lack of RPG element complaints? My copy won't arrive until Friday but some of these complaints are bothering me. Is the game a straight up TPS now?

Here is what I can tell as far as RPG degredation if you want to call it that:

  • You now have limited ammo
  • The number of powers available to each player is much smaller (instead of 6-8 now 3-4)
  • No defined damage characteristics on weapons. You don't know how much more or less powerful weapons are. However, biotic/tech powers still have defined amounts of damage they give (e.g incenerate does 150HP damage at level 1)

That is what I can think of. The game is still an RPG, its just a lot better of a TPS now, too as combat is a lot better in terms of firepower and AI.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
