I decided to play Uncharted 1 again a few weeks ago, just to get the trophies which weren't implemented when it first came out, and it would lock up at parachute drop. Just recently, I tried again after the new firmware, and there was a patch to the game also, and it worked fine after that. Not sure if it was the firmware or the patch that fixed it..
