I bet if you put the average review scores of each game by each company BioWare would probably win.
Square are very much hit and miss. Look at FFXIII, looks set to get average reviews while the last 2 BioWare games that were less then 6 months apart from release have scored well over the 90's.
Square used to be great, but they lost the touch by the looks of things.
