Stop complaining over absolutely nothing. It's a fucking beta, not an exclusive game. While the 360 has a larger audience, the PS3 audience deserves to be thrown a bone once in a while and it was a time for growth with the PS3 that the beta came out. Also, 360 owners are more inclined to buy FPS's in the first place, so why do they need to attempt to expand their audience to a system that's already FPS-crazy.
On another note, I am buying the game for the 360 because I prefer the controller for a shooter. Because the 360 has sold significantly more than the PS3 (especially when the beta was announced) the likelihood of the PS3 owner having both consoles is higher then a 360 owner having both consoles. Therefore the people who have multiple consoles can choose which system based on their preference. Now go cry somewhere else.

If you're going to respond to a post of mine and insult me by calling me a fanboy (isn't that against the forum rules?) try doing it with one in which you have a leg to stand on. Nothing you posted changes the fact that the 360 has the biggest FPS fan base and that it was an idiotic move on their part not to have the beta on that system as well (in addition to the PS3 or solely on 360).
Also the fact you're buying it on the 360 really has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion at hand as well as the bias comment (what in hell does that have to do with making smart business decisions)? As for the multiple consoles angle it makes absolutely no sense in your rebuttal since it just reinforces that it should have been on the 360 (it'd reach a higher percentage of the PS3 user base with the beta on 360 than the 360 userbase with it on PS3).
As for throwing a bone, do you really think EA of all companies really has the luxury of throwing bones to anyone considering their current financial situation and the fact that they're basically trying to play catch up to the Modern Warfare series? Seriously maybe you should consider sticking to the Off Topic forum if that post is an example of what you're going to offer, a knee jerk reaction meant to insult me and using completely flawed logic.

If you bothered to research anything you'd know that the BF series already has a decent following on the 360, the PS3 following is a lot smaller. The 360 having a bigger FPS fanbase combined with existing following will secure sales on that platform. The PS3 however benefits hugely from having the BETA and builds up a stronger following where it was needed most.

I'll copy mine here too: If it'll make your dick feel bigger, DICE explained that they had the beta for the PS3, because the 360 version didn't have as many bugs to warrant a beta.
