Exactly. Your understood completly except one small detail. My PS3 is connected to the same plug as my TV. I even changed it places (my dads an engineer and he told me this that maybe the plug had a problem so I switched plugs). The thing is my PS3 turns off but nothing else I dont know why maybe its because of the excess of power being used in my house.
The only things that turn off are my computers, Xbox 360, and Ps3 but my computers and xbox have a ups each i just need to find one for my ps3 thats all i need
