I'd like the story to be like this:
One day the Boss' company is polluting for making money, so they have to leave the planet for hostile conditions, and they go to live in an asteroid, after that a proffesor goes to olimar's house (in the asteriod) and he tells that he believes there are pikmin's in the other planet (and after a lot of exploration in the other planet and stuff that fits in the story) the realize that the pikmin's planet was also habitable and people polluted that and it ended in ruin and extintion for the people in that planet (there's also a small reference that that planet used to be earth)
