It really depends upon the component type. Video cards are mostly build to specifications standardized by ATI and NVidia; the only differences are the cooling units and the number of DVI/HDMI/other video-out ports. That's why I recommend that you just buy the cheapest one you can find.
By contrast, the quality of power supplies and anything with moving mechanical parts (hard drives, DVD drives) is incredibly manufacturer-dependant. That's why I listed a couple of reliable manufacturers for each in the OP.
