BF:BC2 is vastly superior to MW in almost all respects, from engine tech to online hosting system to basic gameplay. I would elaborate, but I am tired.
Anyhow, MW2 will still outsell BC2 because MW2 is more "accessible", which in gamespeak is a euphamism for "really fucking easy". Or rather, the standard modes where the majority of those millions who play MW2 reside are. There are actually plenty of good MW2 players, but theyre a relative minority playing Hardcore etc.
But MW2 is basically a pop arcade FPS, which is really "accessible" - games like BC2 and MAG are typically more desirable for FPS vets but dont have the accessibility appeal of MW2 for your casual. Which is not to say that only FPS vets play or like BC2 or MAG, far from it - and both will win plenty of converts. But I just do not think the appeal will be as massive, nor will the sales.
Personally I predict BC2 to do about 2mil first week, 3mil by end of 2010 WW. On PS360 anyhow.
Not sure what PC sales will be, and it may be we never know - unless EA tells us anyhow. But PC sales could be large indeed, I would peg it at about 500k first week for PC and 1m by end of 2010, though there is probably no way to prove or disprove one way or another.
