I wonder if they could request that retailers take titles off shelves if they don't sell within a certain time frame. If the same copy of Chicken Shoot is on the shelf after 150 days, and no other copies of the same game are purchased, it should be removed.
Limiting third parties is a bad move, but Nintendo has shown that they embrace the real hard workers. It will be much easier to differentiate the winners from the losers now with all the progress they made this gen.
