FF XIII OST is OUT!!

It fares pretty well compared to the classic OSTs, imo.

It feels refreshing, but still has the FF quality to the music you'd expect.
The only theme used from older FFs is the Chocobo one, everything else is new music.

The battle music overall is even among the best for any FF.
There's a lot of different battle tracks and they are awesome.

I was surprised how many tracks use vocals in some way (not necessarily singing concrete lyrics).
"The Vestige" for example uses vocals by Hamauzu's daughter. A very interesting and atmospheric track. There are also two variations of "The Promise" sung in English and some other field music that uses vocals.
