Why all of a sudden is Killzone a Killer App?

KZ2 is different you cannot compare the first killzone and the 2nd. The first was boring piece of crap, the 2nd is not boring but interesting.

Ye gods, all the reviewers payed to give it a 9.5+? Why cant you just handle that its a good game with extremely good online.

As for the hype, many games are very hyped. Some turn out good some turn out average some turn out rubbish.

Halo 3 was hyped and turned out well, SMG was hyped and turned out well, Fable was hyped and turned out average, Lair was hyped and turned out bad. Hype always occurs for huge budget games and doesn't indicate quality. KZ2 has a good chance of being a very good FPS but personally I will wait and see for some previews.

 Personally, Halo 3 didn't turn out well, it was average. It had more hype than any game I can remember in recent history, and just didn't deliver for me. Other FPS games such as COD4 have since come out and are, to me, far superior.
